WOMEN
Women experience issues related to body image, being a mother/daughter/wife and friend that at times can be difficult to manage. With everyday stressors and responsibilities, it can be very difficult to feel like you're good enough.

MEN
Men tend to manage their day to day life by suppressing their thoughts and feelings relatively well. Often times what many see as "lazy" is actually a symptom of depression and what many see as a "jerk" is a defense. It can be difficult to go through on a daily basis trying to appear as well put together as possible.
DEPRESSION

Is a severe mental illness and it is hard to deal with while those around us say things like "just let it go" or "just be happy". At times it is like being in a deep well, trying to climb up, not getting anywhere and not being able to share with your loved ones due to stigma.
Some of the symptoms can include changes in appetite and sleep patterns, lack of interest or pleasure in activities, fatigue, excess crying, sad mood, irritability, restlessness, poor concentration, changes in libido, substance use, suicidal/homicidal ideation and many more.

ANXIETY
A little anxiety is good for everyone; it is what keeps people moving forward in life and makes them wake up at the sound of their alarm in the morning. However, it can also be very debilitating when you feel like you are unable to do certain things because you are over thinking the consequences.

Some of the symptoms can include racing thoughts, unwanted thoughts, irritability, excessive worry, feeling of impending doom, palpitations, trembling and many more.
TRAUMA
Most people experience trauma in their life and because life continues they have to keep going and they manage to do so by trying not to think about the terrible thing that happened. However, our body is the vessel that contains all of our memories and sometimes is not able to hold all of our negative experiences.
Some symptoms may include shame, guilt, numbness, anger, irritability, isolation, hopelessness, suicidal or homicidal ideation and many more.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE (DV) / INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE (IPV)
Violence can be one or a combination of the following, physical (hitting), verbal (name calling), psychological (stalking) and/or emotional (manipulation) and can be perpetrated by males and females.

-
DV is when there is violence in a household that can impact all family members including children.
-
IPV is when there is violence between two people in a romantic relationship whether they cohabitate or not.
Symptoms can include isolation/withdrawal, justification or excusing of the partner’s behaviors, fear, low self-esteem or self-worth, substance use, suicidal/homicidal thoughts and many more.
STRESS
Is very common and is seen as when there is a physical or emotional strain brought on by an external factor. For many, stress can be related to work, family or other responsibilities but side effects of too much stress are hardly ever discussed.

Symptoms can include acne, headaches/stomachaches, frequent illnesses, sleep disturbances, irritability, changes in appetite and libido and can lead to serious mental health illnesses like Depression and Anxiety.
